For one thing, with Blacksmithing why can't I use the forge in Goldshire? Perhaps a special quest to let people use it. Also I think people ought to be able to use mining a lower levels. It's would be more useful that way.

Another idea for a quest in World of Warcraft is a "Donation of Ruined Leather Scraps". I mean you get a bunch of them in the game, why not make it a quest? It would be better then turning in wool.

I have another idea for another secondary profession "Butchering,". It would allow you to get more meat out of a carcuss. That way you would get more money per kill.

Another thing with the ai in the game is that wolves and bears should attack differently. Wolves for instance will attack in packs. Bears are more likely to attack by themselves. Also they should be more scattered out. Also spiders should have webs if they use webbing. Otherwise they should be like Trantulas, and give off poisen legs.

Also in the game, they have rested and normal status. I think they should add several more. A hungry status, in which you get less experience. Also a thirsty status in which you need more liquids.

Also I think they need more tabs. For instance, when I play Kristys, there is a tab for sneaking. It would be nice if there were other tabs as well, for instance for crafting, or prep for battles.

Today I want to talk about Skinning in World of warcraft. Skinning? Yes skinning. It's one of the primary professions. However, there is one thing that bugs me. Why can't when you loot a corpse they put a little button that says "skin this creature". Instead of having to click on it twice.

Oh by the way, speaking of corpses, when your character turns into one I have three ideas. I think it would be interesting if there were three options. First, if you didn't log back in an hour or so your character would cease to exist. Second option, you could reincarate into another character, abet hight skills. Third option, go to hell for a time of purification or substitute preferred equilant here. Fourth would be to get your bad back.

I think this would make the game much more interesting. However, they would have to make the game a whole lot harder tod die. For instance you could start out as a child, then as you leveled your character could become taller or smaller.

Another thing that bugs me is why does World of Warcraft to get asked to sign Guild charters? We can't sign it, so why even ask us? I mean it's kind of a waste of time.

One thing I was thinking would be cool is if NPC's sold items that players sold to them but at a higher price. That way there would be more selection. They could stock the standard items but also have other items.

Something else is I would like to see the NPC's spread out more. They are grouped to gether which makes it hard for a single player to do quests. Often times I have to get into the periphery of the mobs.

Personally, I think that perhaps World of Warcraft should be free to play on the test server. Then before stuff was implemented it would be tested. That way paying customers would have less bugs. There could also be supported by advertising.

One thing I would like to putforth is what I call the Newbie Paradox. It's what I use to describe how newbies get together. See the players that most need to join a party are the New players. However, they are often times the least able to party. What I find happens most of the time when I party with someone is I run around like the blind leading the blind.

So what I do is I go off and explore on my own. I find it best not to party with someone unless I know them real well. That way, I avoid the "Newbie Paradox."

Anyway, i got prompted by my anti-virus to update so I got logged out several times. It's really frustrating, because I was in the middle of winning too. Then I had to go back as a spirit. It was a contemplation about submitting a bug report. However, I decided against it.

One thing is, I've noticed that the Non-player characters are smarter. For instance, I've noticed several of them casting spells, or using healing potions. It does make the game more interesting.

Another thing is I've noticed is that they have added an Harbor onto stormwind. I will have to explore this more later. But it is interesting.

Personally, though I wish there were more secondary professions. Perhaps Weaving could be one of these. For example, people who do tailoring need alot of cloth. This would help solve the problem.

Another ideas would be to have a wood carving as a secondary profession. For example, they could make carvings, or wood totems. Shamans have to buy tokens as it is.

Though I do want to make an alliance Shaman. However, there is only one race that can make them, that is Tauren. However, this one race can also only learn all the professions. So I have that one be my crafter.

About my idea of "Lineages" in World of Warcraft, one thing too is a there could be a bank tab for them in the game. That way, players could put things in there for other characters they are not using. Then when they are on other characters they could access the vault.

Something else I think that would help world of warcraft is if they supported Gnutella. For example, instead of having everyone download the game from their servers they could have people download it a server closer to the game. Then it would make save bandwith and improve latency.

Another idea is that I think they should have a weaving profession. That way they could make cloth out of plants. Also they could make baskets. Perhaps even backpacks.

Another thought is perhaps the guilds could have apartment buildings. For example, in cities, or near them. Then each "lineage" could have their own apartment. They could store things in them. Have people over, etc.

Here are more constructive critiscism of world of warcraft:

  • It would be nice when I runaway not to get messages saying, "Your facing the wrong way."
  • Personally, I think an interesting feature of the game would be to have Player Versus Player be different then Player Versus Environment battles. For example, when playing agains an non-player character they could do things automatically. However when facing another player they would have to do things manually.
  • Automatically put offhand weapons in the offhand weapons slot. I equiped an item I got from my Rogue and it unequiped the main hand weapon.
  • Have guilds be able to have their own shops. For example, they could sell items in there own store.
  • An idea for a quest would be to gather tinder for a fire.
  • Another idea would be to get water from a river or well.
  • Along with that would go hunting deer, or rabbits.
  • Why can't I drop items instead of destroying them when I have to much inventory?
  • Why cant' I just give items to other players instead of having to trade with them.
  • Why when I paid money to buy the game, am I not allowed to do things in the game? Like send packages or stuff?
  • One interesting idea would be to have a Lineage. All the characters on an account would be part of this lineage. When you banned someone or added them as a friend, it would be on all accounts. It would save time since you wouldn't have to add them on multiple accounts. Also when one of your chacters leveled up it would increase the experience of the other characters. It would kind of go with the idea of giving experience for previous playing experience.

Now that they have taken the WOW server down for maintence, I would like to give some of my "constructive critiscism" of World of Warcraft. It goes as follows:
  • It would be nice if when playing world of warcraft while the having the autorun, if by chance the character didn't run into trees. I mean I think the pathfinding needs some work here. It just would be nice.
  • Also it would be really handy if the map showed underground caves, and tunnels. Sometimes the quest markers show undeground, and you have to look around for the entrance. It would save alot of time.
  • I was thinking it would be nice if there were tradeskills in the starting areas. That way people could start working on them in the newbie areas. Also they could make better equipment then the standard ones. Then there might be less pouching of newbies.
  • Another thing is that I think they ought to have more "stocking" missions. As in go stock the supplies. It would be more meaningful.
  • Another useful feature would be guild houses. Where guilds could meet in private. Or perhaps even guild hunts.
  • One thing is why dont' they make the classes based off the player type for instance. People who like to run around and check things out in the environment are explorers. People who like to gain control over others are powermongers. People who like making things are crafters. People who like fighting all the time could be duelists.
  • Also it would be nice if WOW kept track of past experience. Then when starting a new experience started new characters out at a higher level. For instance, maybe there skills could be higher then a regularer new character.

One thing I really like about the game is that on the map, it shows you where to go for quests. It still takes some looking around for quest items and such. But it makes the process alot nicer. Before I would have to look on a seperate website.

However, somethings I think could use in the game:
  • Why doesn't my character automatically attack after firing off a fireball or long-ranged attack?
  • Why don't the wolves in the game hunt together like in a real pack?
  • Why don't bears eat smaller animals?
