You know I played the Teen Titan's game on my PS2.  I really wish I had been able to get further in it.  Perhaps they can releash an new one.  I would be interested in playing.

Personally, I've always fantasized about having my own tower.  Thoough perhap it would be round at the top.  As I would not want to have a poisen arrow pointing to the sky.

Though it would be really cool to be part of the Teen Titans.  I think Raven is beautiful.  With her long black hair.  Perhaps she could understand me.  Though she's just a cartoon character.

After Naruto Shippuden, I think they should have a new show called Naruto Nara.  It would be a prequel to Naruto Shippuden.  It would tell the story of Naruto Nara.  It would tell of his upbringing, of what he endured, of his struggles and defeats, and how he became so tough.

It would also tell the story of what Lady Tsunade, and her daughter have been doing all this time.  We know what Orchimaru has been doing, and we know what Jiraya have been doing.  But we don't know what Lady Tsunade has been up too.  It has to be more than gambling.

Then also the Naruto card game would continue.  They would be able to have more sets for it.  Also that's more Manga and episodes they could make money off of.  After all it's "merchandising, merchandising, merchandising."

Personally, I've been playing alot more facebook games recently instead of playing wow.  Usually the business model is like this, "We'll let you pay for free, but if you want anything extra you'll pay for it."  Which is fine.  My strategy is to play many different games at once.  Then over time I build up my status rather then paying through the noose for things.

It would be likened to a martial arts studio where the lessons were free but there was a payphone for students, there was coin operated machines to sell everything, there was coing operated showers, and gym lockers, etc.  Personally, I think some of this motion sensor technology would be very useful in martial arts studios.  For instance you could have a "Danger Room," where people rented out.  It would be a combination of a holodeck/treadmill.

For example, the martial arts studio could also sell martial arts video games.  For example, there are alot of games that use motion capture technology.  This could be quite useful in martial arts training.

If you asked me why I used that same old clunky game engine and why I am still using it, I would give this answer: Because I am really smart and cool and awesome. And if more people emulated me, the game industry would not be near so messed up. http://jeff-vogel.blogspot.com/2010/04/how-i-saved-gaming-industry-overnight.html
I think this guy is dead on.  He's not a Blizzard nor EA games, nor does he have to see.  He's an Indie game developer.   See in my experience in Game Development this is what happens in Indie development:

Ted:  "Let's make a game?"
Fred:  "Sure."
Ted:  "This is going to be awesome."
Fred:  "It's going to be off the hook.

Notice this conversation did not mention Game Design Documents, a business plan, marketing plan, etc. etc.  Also people try and make an AAA game with b talent, a shoestring budget, and luck.  Well you know how it works out.  I think we can all learn a lesson from this guy.

One thing that really bothers me is why do I have to have the cd the game come with to play it. I mean really now, am a person who does "buy" his games. If someone wanted to rip off the company they could always download it.

I dont' mind paying for the games. It's having to have the actual cd in the drive. For example, tonight I downloaded Mint Linux to my pc. They want you to install it on a cd-rom first. So it's busy right now. While I wait I would love to play a little freedom force, but no.

I guess that is one thing that is good about online games. I can play it on other games without having to install it becuase it plays in the borwser. I just want to play the games on my computer without the inconvience of having to us the cd-rom. Really....

So I have been having problems with WOW. I play on a private server, so I don't get the support. So I had a friend come over to help me.

Anyway, he had trouble connecting to the wireless network. After calling his brother and getting changing a setting on his computer, the was able to log on. He was able to play.

One thing too, is if Blizzard if I had the download I maybe I wouldn't have to download so much. It's a big download, I think like 1.5 gigs. So maybe blizzard should have a message in it's download process, that asks if you would like to buy the update. I would be willing to buy it.

I've also made a donation to the server before I had the issues. I was supposed to get 4, 32 slot bags. However, I still havent' received them.

To me I always like playing the game that are less known. I mean alot of people have heard of about other games such as Oblivion or Fallout 3. One of those games is Freedom Force.

So I have been playing Freedom Force. I bought it on sale. I had to download the patch from a 3rd party source I found on google. EA could have put a link to the download on their site. I'm a little disappointed, next time I think twice about making a purchase from one of their games.

I'm halfway through the game right now. I've enjoyed playing it. It plays like a rts with roleplaying elements or an rpg with rts elements, take your pick.

When I was younger, I was only interested in rpg's, fighting, and rts's. I kind of viewed it as an intellectual excercise. Now as I'm in my mid 20's, I'm getting interested in other types of games as well.

So I've decided I want to buy a wii. That way I'll get more exercise. What I will probably do is sell my ps2 with the games, my n64 with the games, and some of my old computer games.

So I saw this, and I didn't know to laugh or cry. Thing is now it's not just our products they are ripping off. It's also, the japanese. Thing so now it's not just one country that is being intellectual property that's being copied.

So I downloaded fate onto my computer. This time I got to level 11 in the dungeon. The levels were different this time. Then my free game session expired. I'm considering buying the game. I think it's a good methology, because then your probably going to want to buy the game to finish it.

You know I heard, "there's no market for linux games!" Well, now with wal-mart selling a 200 dollar desktop linux computer, dell offering linux machines, and asus selling the eee machine, I beg to differ. Perhaps now we will start to see more games for linux. Although, for a game to be ported to linux, it had to be good. I hope that doesn't change.

I saw this article on digg. I think it is interesting for anyone considering game development as a career option. Personally, I hope with in the next ten years I will be able to do that.

I was reading this about the xbox 360. One thing I was thinking about is if you could have regional servers, it could speed things up. However, most games don't need a server running all the time. If a server went down, for let's say maintence, then the customer's could use the next one.

Another thing is if one of the big costs of a mmorpg, is having the servers architecture. If microsoft could take care of that would make it a whole lot easier to develop games. For example, if they built that into the xns club, it would make it a whole lot easier.

Personally, I would like to be able to work off a satellite connection. I couldn't do whole game by myself, well... atleast not right now. But I could make pieces of the game and sell those pieces.

To do that, it probably would be best to get into object oriented programming. I've heard Java is so object oriented, yet it's probably one of the hardest languages to learn. Well, I've got to walk before I can run.

One thing with doing busines and game designing is that people don't think it will work. This is because the few people tried have failed. But that's not really enough people to know if that works or not. Thing is on a small team people might have to do more than one thing.

Personally, I think that the ESRB should review games based on how they are sent out to the public. If someone modifies something, it's not their fault. One thing though, is perhaps having a control system so that people know the rating of the content they are getting.

Mobile Games

I was looking on my cellphones at how much it would cost for a game. It's like 2 dollars a month. Someone's making money doing that.
